Cloud Computing the Biggest Rising Star in the ICT Industry
Cloud Computing, the latest idea of Internet-based development, has been seen as the biggest rising star in the information and communication technologies (ICT) industry. Typical cloud computing providers deliver common business applications online which are accessed from a web browser, while the software and data are stored on servers. Cloud Computing is expected to generate huge business opportunities in the categories of hardware, software and services, covering from centralized data storage to computing operations which will greatly simplify the functions of consumer-end ICT products. Taiwan’s core competence is in the new-generation end-user devices.
