Q.How do I join Taiwantrade? |
From Taiwantrade's homepage, click on the JOIN FREE link. Follow the step-by-step instructions to quickly complete the registration process. Once you reply our confirmation letter sent via email, you may access your very own “My Taiwantrade” pages.

Q.Who will see my membership information? |
All information submitted to Taiwantrade is held in the strictest of confidence. For details about our sharing policies, please see the Membership Agreement.

Q.How do I end my membership? |
If you want to take your name off Taiwantrade's membership list, please email e-member@taitra.org.tw. If possible, let us know the reason why you wish to discontinue membership, as we are concerned about providing the best services that we can. In your email, include your user name, company name, and the original email address used during registration. Without this complete information, we may not be able to remove you from our system.

Q.What if I forgot my password? |
Simply visit the Taiwantrade homepage, click on the Login link, then select Forgot password. Fill in the form and Get password. Taiwantrade's system will immediately send you a new password by email.
You may also contact e-member@taitra.org.tw. Write "Forgot password" in the subject line, and include your user name, company name, and the email address listed during your original registration.

Q.What if I forgot my user name or original email address? |
Contact e-member@taitra.org.tw and write "Forgot user name" or "Forgot Original Email Address" in the subject line. Explain your situation and include whatever information that you do recall. To speed up the process, you should try to include any of the following: user name, company name, email address used during your original registration; also add any other information (i.e. telephone numbers, fax numbers, or company address) to help us identify your company in our database.

Q.How do I change my password? |
To modify your password, simply log in to Taiwantrade. From your “My Taiwantrade” page, select “My Profile” from the Account Management section. Once there, select Change password and follow the instructions.

Q.What if I didn't receive a user name or password? |
If you did not receive a confirmation letter in your email after you completed the online registration, please write to e-member@taitra.org.tw and explain the situation. To speed up the process, you should include your user name, company name, and the email address listed during your original registration; also add any other information (i.e. telephone numbers, fax numbers, or company address) to help us identify your company in our database.

Q.What is Account Management? |
Taiwantrade provides each company with up to five user accounts, including one account administrator (Account Admin) and four buyer representatives (Buyer Rep). Account Management lets only the Account Admin change and update account profiles and other information.

Q.What is the Difference between "Account Admin" and "Buyer Rep"? |
By default, the first registered user will be designated as the Account Administrator. The Account Administrator is able to create, edit, or delete Buyer Rep accounts. User privileges are detailed in the following table:

Q.How do I make changes to my company's Buyer Rep account information? |
Log in to Taiwantrade and open your “My Taiwantrade” page. From Account Management, click on Account Management to make your desired changes.

(4)Biz Exchange |
Q.What is Biz Exchange? |
Biz Exchange is an online bulletin board specially designed for Taiwantrade Members to post offers for Buy or Sell opportunity on the one hand and for businesses worldwide to browse the offers on the other. All for FREE!

Q.Who can post offers? |
Only registered Taiwantrade members can post offers on Biz Exchange. Please join Taiwantrade to make use of this service. Registration is FREE.

Q.How long will offer validation take? |
All entries will be reviewed for legitimacy before they are posted. Barring unforeseen delays or holiday breaks, it usually takes only one business day to validate an entry (Taiwan time zone +08:00 GMT).

Q.How do I cancel offers? |
To remove an earlier entry (ies), simply send an email to biz@taitra.org.tw using your original email account. Don't forget to include your company name, entry date, and details of content entry (ies). And we will process your request as soon as possible.

Q.What else to consider? |
As the main party concerned, you take full responsibility for the content of your entry(ies). Moreover, all subsequent agreements, arrangements, or transactions resulting from this service are to be made directly between you and the relevant seller or buyer. TAITRA is not in any way a party to such dealings.

Q.Do I have to be a Member to use all of Biz Exchange's services? |
If you want to post to Biz Exchange, you need to be a registered member. However, it is not required for searching and browsing.

Q.What is a "Post" and how do I make one? |
Any Taiwantrade member may submit an electronic notice (post) which lets other businesses know of the member's purchasing interest or product/service for sale.
If you would like to make a post, log in to your “My Taiwantrade” page and click post Biz Exchange under the Business Management section. Fill in the information, making sure all items marked with an * are entered. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete your post.

Q.I don't see my post. How long before it is displayed? |
All posts will be reviewed for legitimacy prior to being posted. If there are no delays or holidays, after approval it usually takes one business day to appear (Taiwan time zone +08:00 GMT).

Q.Why are posts reviewed? |
Biz Exchange promotes a professional and business-friendly atmosphere. Adult services, pornography, hate propaganda, SPAM, unrelated advertising, and anything illegal is prohibited. Posts that include this kind of material will not be placed onto the system. Taiwantrade reserves the right to decline any Post according to our discretion.

Q.What is the duration of a Post? |
Users may select a display period for each Post: three days, one week, one month, three months and six months.

Q.How do I remove a post before the display period ends? |
If you want to remove an earlier Post, from your original email account simply send biz@taitra.org.tw an email including your company name, the Post's date, and the detailed contents of your Post. We will process your removal request as soon as possible.
Biz Exchange - Terms & Conditions
- Biz Exchange offers business-friendly, professional service and strictly prohibits posting of sexually explicit material, pornography, propaganda, spam, unrelated advertisement, or any illegal content. Taiwantrade reserves the right to decline any offer that is deemed questionable.
- Only those who have registered as Taiwantrade members may post offers.
- All textual information to be posted must be in English
- Offer to Buy entries are unlimited.
- Offer to Sell entries are limited to five (5) per day.
- Only legitimate businesses are allowed to participate in Biz Exchange.
- Abuse of the system could pose serious legal consequences. Internet crimes can and will be prosecuted.
- Offer entries are subject to a posting period of 3 days (min) to 3 weeks (max), and will be automatically removed once the date expires. However, a written request may be emailed to biz@taitra.org.tw to remove entries before the expiration date.
- Taiwantrade may also remove non-qualifying entries at any given time.
- Taiwantrade is not responsible for the accuracy of materials posted on Biz Exchange and makes no representations or warranties concerning completeness, veracity, or suitability for any particular purpose. Users should rely on their own independent judgment.
Note: Taiwantrade reserves the right to make changes as needed from time to time without any prior notice.

Q.How do I send my inquiry? |
After having searched for and located either a product or company, you could click at most 15 suppliers with one correspondence.

Q.How do I contact a company? |
After having searched for and located either a product or company, click on the company's name. You will be redirected to their enterprisePortal. ePortals contain detailed information about a business and products. You may either click on the Contact Us link or their email address to fill in an inquiry form with your message.

Q.How do I post my buying offer? |
You may use the Biz Exchange to post your buying offers. These offers will send to our Taiwanese suppliers according to the industry.
