Taiwan’s ceramic tiles industry was once the brightest star in the traditional industries. Ceramic tiles factories in Taiwan prospered to the peak in 1994 with 300 kiln production lines. In recent years, facing price-reducing competitors within the industry as well as other kinds of great challenges, Taiwanese tile makers have been striving to transform themselves.
