About Axcen

Axcen Photonics Corp. was founded in May, 2002 in Taiwan as a professional manufacturer of active components for optical communication systems. The headquarter is located in New Taipei City.

With the integration of professionals in optics, mechanics and electrical engineering, Axcen Photonics Corp. has finished the development of optical sub-assembly module package, L-I-V characteristics measurement system and optical transceivers. These technologies are fully employed in the production. Right now, Axcen Photonics Corp can offer the optical transceivers including SFP, Copper SFP, 1x9, 2x5, 10G SFP+, 10G XFP, CSFP. In addition, Axcen Photonics Corp can offer the customized product design to the needed clients.

Axcen Photonics Corp also offers the products and service of optical sub-assembly (OSA). With the accumulation of product development experience in the last years, Axcen Photonics Corp can provide the clients the high quality, high coupling-efficiency and cost-effective OSA products. The products include SC-type, LC-type and pigtailed-type OSAs with the speed ranging from 155Mbps to 10Gbps. In order to meet the specific request for high power and high coupling efficiency OSAs, Axcen Photonics Corp also can offer the customized service to this kind of products.

In order to meet the strict requirements for optical communication components, Axcen Photonics Corp not only has obtained the compliance certificate of UL and TUV but also pursue the system certificate of ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 to reach the international manufacturing standard in the near future. Furthermore, our company also set up the quality insurance division to monitor and audit the quality of product production.

Quality Assurance

Quality Management System : Axcen Photonics Corp. have been a participant in the ISO 9001:2000 from 2004. In 2010, we re-evaluated our quality management system to ISO 9001:2008, and certificate was re-issued through Sep 2013.

Regulatory Compliance : In order to comply with and make an assurance of the safety standards set for optical transceivers all over the world, the products of Axcen Photonics Corp have passed the compliance test and obtained the certificate of TUV, UL, FDA, CE, FCC.

RoHS : AXCEN Photonics Corp. commits to manufacturing the products complying with the European Union directive 2002/95/EC of 27 January 2003 on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS directive). Axcen's products meet the RoHS thresholds for lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers roughly a year ahead of the deadline of RoHS (July 1, 2006).
